Without your input, we would not have built the range of successful products that make up our ever widening portfolio.

In many organisations, the functions of Marketing, R&D and Sales are divorced, frequently in different countries. This slows down development and makes finding that 'someone', with the real authority to make a decision about your idea, frustratingly difficult. 

Rocket Medical is an unusual organisation, seven years ago we combined these three diverse departments into one single team - which we simply call 'Marketing and Design'. 

By combining these functions and blurring the distinctions between them, we have stimulated creativity and reduced the time taken to make key product development decisions. 

This structure and the benefits that it brings have been fundamental to Rocket Medical being awarded the UK's 'Best Factory Award for Innovation' first in 2004 and again in 2007.

What this means to you, is that all the key individuals responsible for the development of your idea are in one team in one place.

Yes, absolutely. 

These evolutionary developments are just as important as the very rare 'blue sky' innovations that create step changes in clinical practice. 

Our structure allows us to quickly examine and evaluate ideas. We review new concepts as a team to get the widest range of views and research before making a decision to proceed  This initial evaluation process typically takes around four weeks.

At the end of this initial process we will give you a straight answer, Yes, we want to continue with the research and possible development or No thank you, it's not for us. 

We don't waste our customer's time.

If we do wish to continue, then we will negotiate a suitable agreement with you before proceeding further.

Patents & Protection

Occasionally customers will bring ideas to us that are already the subject of patent applications. Frequently they have invested large sums in fees. Sadly, many of these ideas are not as unique as the inventor might think or are simply not commercially viable.

Their rush to patent the idea is frequently born out of the not unreasonable fear that some large, anonymous corporation is going to steal their work.

Rocket Medical is justly proud of its ethical approach to business and we are very protective
of our good reputation, so it is simply not in our interest to steal ideas from customers.

However, for your added protection, we have a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for you to complete and submit before you disclose the detail of your idea.
